Foreign Students Admission Requirements
Foreign students must have a qualification equivalent to Slovak secondary education and have passed the General Certificate of Education examination or its equivalent.
Green Identity Card
The green identity card entitles the foreign student to permanent residence in the Slovakia Republic. The Foriegn student has all the rights and duties of the Slovak citizen except the right to vote and the duty of military service. With this green identity card the foreign student is no longer considered as a foreign student.
Entry Requirements
A valid passport and a visa are required from certain countries. For students who wish to stay in Slovakia for longer than a consecutive 90 day period, they require a temporary residence permit. These can and are usually granted by a Slovakian embassy from within the student's home country. Health insurance is often required before such permits are granted though.
Language Requirements
Students must have an adequate knowledge of the Slovak language. |
