Foreign Students Admission Requirements
Foreign students must be eligible for higher education in their own country and have a qualification corresponding to Estonian qualification giving access to higher education.
Foreign students must usually apply for admission on the same terms as Estonian students. And the requirements depend on the higher education institution requirements and the chosen field of study. Check with the higher education institution for specific requirements.
Residence Visa
Foreign students from a third countries need a visa for visits that are 3 to 6 months long.
A temporary residence permit for study is required if the foreign student from a third country intends to stay in Estonia for more than three months.
Language Requirements
All the foreign students need to provide proof of the proficiency in the language of the study program.
The documented proof is usually not required from native-speakers or from the foreign students who have completed their previous education in the required language of the study program. |
